INDICATION: Moderate to severe hormonal acne, seborrhea, and hirsutism.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: High risk of venous or arterial thrombosis. History of migraine. Diabetes Mellitus. Severe liver disease. Use w/ another hormonal contraceptive. Not for use in men. Pregnancy & lactation.
PRECAUTION: Increased risk of arterial & venous diseases. Discontinue in case of increase in frequency or severity of migraine.
SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, abdominal pain; increased weight; headache; altered mood; breast pain.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Enzyme-inducing drugs, antiepileptics, azole antifungals, direct-acting antivirals, and some antibiotics
